The insect immediately stops feeding, is irreversibly paralyzed and dies in a relatively short time. AFFIRM OPTI acts specifically on lepidopterans by contact and ingestion. The product has local systemic movement (translaminar or penetrating) at the level of the treated plant organs, where it enters and forms an active reservoir of product that very effectively protects the plant against lepidopterans.
