Description

Cidely Top is a translaminar foliar fungicide, with a broad spectrum of control of foliar diseases in Solanaceae (tomato diseases, pepper diseases, eggplant diseases), Cucurbitaceae (watermelon diseases, cantaloupe diseases, cucumber diseases, squash diseases) and fruit shrubs (strawberry diseases), with excellent control against powdery mildew, leaf spot and melon stem rot. The Cidely Top fungicide has both preventive and curative action. It contains two active substances with complementary action: difenoconazole and cyflufenamid. Cyflufenamid, the only representative of a new class of chemical compounds (amidoximes), acts translaminar and acropetal. Cidely Top acts on 3 stages of development of pathogenic fungi: it inhibits the formation of ascospores, inhibits the development of mycelium and the establishment of the fungus, as well as sporulation. Difenoconazole acts translaminar against fungi at the moment of penetration into the plant (germination of fungal spores) and during the formation of haustoria and stops the development of pathogenic fungi by interfering with the biosynthesis of sterols (ergosterol) in cell membranes. It is rapidly absorbed and has very good resistance to washing. Cidely Top is the first foliar fungicide approved for combating brown spot of stems and fruits in Cucurbitaceae. Cidely Top protects beneficial entomofauna, being classified as harmless to them. Dosage and method of application: It is applied preventively and/or curatively foliar, depending on environmental conditions and infection pressure.
