Description
Technical data LIETO fungicide Active substances: 330 g/kg zoxamide + 330 g/kg cymoxanil Formulation: water-dispersible granules (WG) Advantages LIETO fungicide Preventive, curative and antisporulant action Special efficacy due to the synergistic effect of zoxamide and cymoxanil Effective against downy mildew with resistance to phenylamides Resistance to washing Allows alternation of treatments Mode of action LIETO fungicide It has in its composition two active substances, cymoxanil and zoxamide, with different mechanisms of action. Cymoxanil penetrates quickly and is uniformly redistributed in the leaves, inhibits the production and spread of infection as well as the multiplication (sporulation) of the pathogen. Preventive activity is given by the ability of cymoxanil to destroy downy mildew spores, before the infection sets in. Curative activity is given by the ability of the substance to block the development of mycelium in the first 2-3 days after installation. Zoxamid is a contact substance with preventive action, inhibits the development of zoospores, stops the elongation of the pollen tube in the first cycles of division in the nucleus and prevents the penetration of fungi into the plant cells. It has a secondary effect of combating Botritis spp and Alternaria spp. The Lieto product is resistant to washing and it is recommended to alternate its application with other plant protection products, but not more than five applications per season.
